Issue with headlight buckets

I've just acquired a 1999 Sahara and I've found that the headlight adjusters are frozen and the torx adjuster screw heads are mostly stripped. I see that the assemblies are available at a pretty high price. I can free the adjusters a bit with vice grips after removing the assemblies from the car. I can make them work if I could find the adjusting screws. Any suggestions other than buying new assemblies at $100.00 each? Thanks.

Those screws come with a plastic insert to fix the bucket when its threads are stripped? If so, I wish I had known that fix was available several years ago when I entirely replaced the buckets for that problem.

The ones on the link are for LJs. Different thread size. Still looking.

Maybe I used the wrong terminology. The adjuster screw detail says it only fits newer models. I bought the entire assemblies for TJs anyway. I'll avoid driving myself crazy over the small parts. Perhaps I can get the old ones working in my spare time and sell them.
Thanks again for your help.

Thank you MrBlaine. I may have misunderstood the listing for the part. I know I used the wrong description for the Jeep model but the listing for the screw in question says it only fits newer type Jeeps. (I used the description for the Unlimited, sorry.) The supplier confirmed that it was for '07 and later, at least as far as he understood it. The picture certainly looks like the ones in my car but it may have slightly wider threads. I could probably re-tap the plastic housing to make them work if everything else is comparable. The supplier also sells the entire headlight assembly for a fairly reasonable price. That would certainly eliminate any doubt. I appreciate all who have taken the time to respond.

Thread resurrection... although Jeff meant to say JK, the screws do in fact work in the adjuster assembly for my '97 Sport. Same thread size, same T15 female drive. $15 for six screws saved me a bunch of cash over buying complete adjuster assemblies. Just thought I'd update in case anyone else is looking for those screws like I was.

Great info indeed, thanks for sharing this. This is likely to help many people who are in the same situation.

I don't mean to piggyback on this question but I need some help. I have a '97 Wrangler Sport and I am in need of the adjuster assembly. Does anyone know if just the assembly is available, the one on the passenger side is broken (beyond repair) and I just receive some new headlights for Christmas? If I can avoid purchasing the entire headlamp, that would be great however I am not having any luck finding them.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance

This was the only option I found other than buying a used assembly from a Jeep part-out. Luckily I was able to save mine with the new screws.
