Can I replace the windshield weatherstrip without removing the windshield?

The weatherstrip has come off in the corner several times at highway speeds so I’ve had to tape it down. Can I pull this out and replace it?

I’ve seen windshield replacement videos and people install this before putting the windshield in.

If I can replace it, what do I use to keep it stuck down? Thanks

I had the same issue and when the windshield replacement guy came out to replace my cracked one he put that gasket in the correct way. I would gather that your windshield has been out at one point and someone messed it up putting it back in or the gasket worked its way out. Either way I don't think silicone will be a permanent fix. Just my 2 cents.
