I was looking for some rockguards for my LJ
Found d interesting ones for regular TJ at reasonnable price
But for an LJ ,quite more expensive
So, project started ! Raw metal , good planning, and a welder ,,,,,
Good prep is the secret !

Then sanding ,cleaning, zinc chromate , trim black paint ,3 coats !
I like the discrete look,

Very happy of the result

I want your shop so I can make my own rockers as well.

quite easy to do
3/16 angle iron 2 x 3 , 60 inches
1 x 2 tubing 3/16 56 inches
3 2 inches flat bar x 9 inches long to support on floor channel

weld , that 's it!
sand clean , primer , 3 coats of trim black paint
et voila ! total cost $100
