I just picked up one of these from DV8. Don't care for the silver finish, but wanted something a little longer.
It was under $20 delivered so I couldn't go wrong. I am going to re-drill the set screw and add a spacer to make it about an inch longer.

I just got one of their fuel doors for $44
I wonder if they're doing away with their TJ parts

I’ll just have to siphon gas from the neighbors car for the next few days but I think it’s worth it in the long run.

How did it work out? Is it easier to reach stock or did you have to move the set screw for more height?

It was easier to reach than stock, but I use a four point harness so when I am strapped in it was hard to reach. I modified it a little And it is much closer. See pictures

Yes the button still works. If I ever have the whole shifter assembly out someday I will put a little more bend in shaft to get some more dash clearance , but it is pretty easy to reach where it is. I just drilled another hole in the knob about one inch lower and tapped it. Then installed a set screw to hold it in place. I used a small bolt and a couple of self locking nuts to make an adjustable spacer to activate the locking button and rod.
It just slides inside the knob and takes up the gap created by raising the knob. Using a bolt that just slides inside keep it from rattling.
