It looks like my 2000 Sport has a Dana 30 both front and back, does that sound right? Both are 3.73s. Were any Dana 30s made with limited slip? Wondering why the numbers on the tags are slightly different. Front Below

I think you're right, I was going by the flat sides but looking at the rear cover it does look like the 44 in your picture. That would be nice. How do I find out if it is limited slip? VIN decoder? Is there a site to obtain build sheets or window stickers?

I'll jack it up tomorrow and spin the wheels, but if it's a trutrac or whatever else they might have used will both wheels still spin the same direction even if the clutches are worn out?
 
Put it in neutral, jack up one rear tire, try to turn it. If it turns, it does not have limited slip.
If you jack up the whole rear end, turn one tire and the other one will turn with it, same direction, if it has limited slip.

Thanks, do you know if this is the case even if the clutches are worn out?
