Any of you Texas jeepers ever camp out on Crystal Beach or Galveston or thereabouts? Have any coordinates to share? That's the 2nd overnight stop in a 5 day run I'm planning for a local overlanding group. I know it's like 27 miles of camping, was just wondering if anyone here had a favorite spot.

Yeah, you have the long drive of 10 minutes. LOL! No matter what these guys say, I’ll probably be there about 9am to air down, get paid up and be ready to roll. I haven’t wheeled it on my new setup, and so I’m ready to see what it can do.

Unfortunately, the other night I was adding the 0.75”spacers and moving my bumpstops to the lower perch. When I bolted my MC trackbar back up, I torqued to 130ft/lbs and it stripped out. No idea why. I did not use antiseize, it should not have happened. Matson said he’d send one out Monday. So I hope it’s here by Friday.
 
It looks pretty good! You should get it by Weds maybe Thurs at the latest. I ordered the 3rd brake light from them so I can pass inspection. They shipped it Thurs and I received it today.

What? No light. That’s like, the most important part. Well, it’s an irreducibly complex system, I’m just saying, kinda need the light. You’ll be fine though, no biggie!
