So I had three issues begin at the same time. 1 no air blown through any vents (checked vacuum line in engine bay no leaks) 2. Air bag light came on 3. Abs light came one

Any help is greatly appreciated

With the ABS light you need to either get an OBDII scanner with SRS capability, or you need to go to a place that can scan it with one and tell you what the code is for the ABS light, that's the only way to figure that out.

As for ABS, check your brake fluid first off and see if it's full. That light will come on sometimes when it's below the full mark. I'd also see if the scanner will tell you why the ABS light is on, as it may.

As for the no air blowing through vents, you'll need to look more thoroughly. It's almost always a vacuum line, and you need to trace them down to under the battery as well. All it takes is a tiny, tiny leak, and those can be hard to spot.

The other potential solution is this: How to fix heat / AC / air not blowing through center vents

Glad you got it sorted out. That's something I wouldn't have expected (the solution I mean).

Reviving and old thread to give a better diagnostic/solution. Not to bash, but I think there can be more info to relay than "bad ignition coil and a bad resistor in the ac".

Symptoms:
3 days ago: Jeep started beeping at me while driving, no lights, no indicators etc. It would stop when I slowed to under 5/10mph. I haven't setup my parking brake cables after axle swap, so I figured maybe my parking brake lever was pulled up slightly by my wallet/phone stuffed in there. The lever did not "feel" like it was raised, may not be related, but it needs to be noted.
2 Days ago: No issues; Heat/AC work flawlessly
1 Day ago: A.M.: Drive to work, no issues, had heater on, no issues.
1 Day ago: P.M.: Drive home, no issues. 3-year-old son like to play in the Jeep and wants to do a little backyard cruising.
Start Jeep, put seat belt on and the airbag light comes on with a few beeps.
I pay little mind to it and figure it is a fluke, it will reset. Stop/Start Jeep a few more times and the light comes back on.
0 Day: Leave for work, Airbag light comes on. It's a little brisk out and I have the top flipped back and doors off, I go to turn heat on and...nothing. No heat, no A/C, and no fan/blower action.
What I've done so far:
1) Check all fuses: All good
2) Search the internet: Found this thread/other useless information.
3) Disconnect battery for 2 hrs+, check whatever airbag connections I can access. All good and tight.
4) Reinstall battery cables: Light comes back on
5) Have O'Reilly's scan with OBDII tool:
5a) 16 SRS $58 1/1
Loss of Ignition - Run Only
ACTIVE

6) Researching and gathering Intel

Went to a different auto store after a margarita and burrito, had him try and clear the airbag light; no success.
Bought a blower motor resister; no success.
Pulled every fuse and if it looked sketchy, it was replaced; unsuccessful.
Called Jeep dealer, they want $100 to look at it, to which I replied, “that’s a bit ridiculous”. This may be last effort.

The internet is failing me, no mix of words are getting me any closer to a solution. I don’t want to buy a $225 clock spring without at least getting closer to whatever is the issue.
I sure don’t want to pay $100 on top of the $225 if it is the clock spring +labor.

I’ll keep doing some recon.

I also did the on-off key thing, I’m pretty sure I got 12 blinks: loss of power in last 50 key cycles.
Makes sense since I disconnected the battery earlier.
Almost forgot; I turned the system to A/C while parked and heard the compressor engage, no blower action, but it is relaying something.

Alright, I'm ready to drop some coin...the damn MOPAR clock spring is $228.
I can hail mary and hope that's the issue, although I'm not 100%. My horn is still working and I have no steering wheel controls.
I can get a doorman or BWD knock off of $100 cheaper, but your get what you pay for.

If anyone really cares...
After thoroughly researching the service manual/wiring schematics and the Bosch OBD scan tool manual, these are possible issues.
1) Low/Dead Battery: Perhaps my direct wired "new" locker is causing a drain. Battery was installed by PO, might be time to look into a new one anyway.
1a) Re-wire switch: I'll just add another switch to the mix. The main switch will provide power to the activation switch, kind of like a safety switch. Doesn't really make sense in theory though.
***I should put a multi-meter to it and see if there is a switch issue first. That's better idea***
2) Clock spring: Worn/Damaged: Maybe it's just just worn out after 16 years. I have power washed my entire interior, maybe it's caught up.
2a) I have ordered a new clock spring...not F..ing happy about the cost.

That's all for now, I still do not understand why the blower switch quit. As far as the wiring for the blower/clock spring, the circuits do not tie together at all. I'll install the clock spring tomorrow and see where we are at.

Annnnnddddddd.....dumbass award of the day goes to....me.
I was checking electrical from the switch to fuse box to steering wheel, etc. Tore apart the dash and steering wheel, found a nice 16 gage red/black wire electrical taped together. So I thought until I was giving it a check and the damn thing fell apart. Used a butt connector to see if I found issue and damn if it was the solution.

I’m the 6th owner of this Jeep, guess I need to get a little deeper into looking for PO jack jobs. There are about 6 wires electrical taped together with shit connectors. I’ll be spending the weekend soldering and heat shrinking them.

Now to see if I can return that $280 clock spring. HVAC and blower fan are now working, I’ll have to trace that wire in the service manual to see what else it may have been affecting.

Reviving another thread;

Similar issue with me. Recently noticed my airbag light and triple chime after startup.
Went out shortly after started driving.
Appears to be intermittent. Sometimes I get the airbag light, sometimes not.
Today where I am is cold so I tried to turn on the heat. No air coming out.
Then the airbag light went off and the air worked.
Somehow they are associated, electrically.

Initially I was thinking clockspring, but now that the blower motor is part of the equation, I can’t wrap my head around why.
Haven’t dug into electrical diagrams yet…

Did you figure out how these two are linked? Having the same issue and have checked the grounds and wire brushed the one at the passenger speaker and reinstalled and checked for low voltage. Installed a new control unit but did not fix a thing. Only getting the airbag light on and no HVAC, ABS light has never came on.

Pretty sure mine has been narrowed down to an intermittent electrical issue within the ignition. I’ve purchased a Mopar replacement but have yet to install it.
