What rear bumpers w/ hitch recievers do y'all recommend? I have some ancient rusted out Drawtite reciever currently. Not a fan of how it messes with my departure angle and clearance and not sure how much long its gonna last. Not gonna be towing anything, but I'd like to have one for a bike rack and so I can have a spot for hitch recovery point.

I’m running a Warn bumper w/poison spider frame tie ins and have no complaints. Matches my Warn bumper in the front, simple design, installs as you would inspect. It’s plenty strong enough using the tie ins that you don’t really need to drill the extra holes per instructions. I’ve had my bike rack mounted to it for a few years now with no rattling or anything. Bought directly from Amazon for a great price at the time. I would take a Savvy if they were available but they’re not and no one that has one is willing to sell.

I like those Warn ones but don't think they make them anymore. Nice Yeti as well.

Rock Hard 4x4 makes front and rear bumpers that have receivers; the rear they rate for towing. They rate the bumper to whatever the vehicle is rated for.

Also have separate recovery points and I think you can get the rear with or without the tire carrier.

No matter what bumper you get, make sure you get the frame brace brackets. It's way too easy to tear the bumper off the frame, or more precisely, tear the rear frame crossmember off the frame.

Your bike is muddy, but your Jeep isn't. What's up with that? ;)

X2 to the American-made bumpers from https://www.thedirtworx.com/product-page/rear-bumper . They are extremely high quality, beefy as hell, and the receiver hitch is integrated into the bumper for increased ground clearance. Bumpers with the receiver hitch welded underneath the bumper as an afterthought decrease ground clearance and can drag on terrain. I learned that the hard way with my first bumper with its receiver hitch located under the bumper..

I've installed their rear bumper onto both of my TJs and always liked how well built they were.

Like said before get the frame tie in as well as I have the 4 bolts that are on the inside of the frame rails where the gas tanks is (had to take the tank to get to it but I had it out one day so I throw some bolts in) I also don’t trust bumper swing outs. I currently run the Motobilt crawler bumper. Not as high clearance as the dirt work but I like the look and has no problem with strength. Picture is me driving 1k miles with a hf tray that has 2 lj axles and had no issues besides a little squat.

I wouldn't trust a receiver hitch with that much weight and leverage on it.

I normally wouldn’t either and don’t recommend it but with straps going across to the shackles to help hold it up some it at least worked and I hope I never have to do anything that bad again. My Chinese bumper couldn’t even hold a cooler on a tray before.

I wonder if you could put straps between the window/hardtop and get them to the roll cage instead to actually help with the leverage
