If you look at this picture you will see that Jeep made a mistake in the Parts Manual for a 2006 LJ and has the same part number listed for #13 and #14. The part number listed is actually for the [BUTTON, Rear View Mirror]. So i have no idea what the part number actually is for #14. Anyone know?

I think the part number is not supposed to be listed for the screw.

That isn't the only typo. If you look on item 12 which is a screw, it has the same part number as item 11 (the mirror above it with a lamp.)

In the parts list for my 2001, neither the screw for the footman loop, or the screw for the mirror has a part number.

As soon as i can get these old broken off screws out of the windshield i will go get new screws. Been soaking these for two days. There is just enough material there where i should be able to get a small pair of vice-grips on them to unscrew them.

not from what i've researched. i think its just a screw with a standoff style on the top half. since everyone says to just go buy replacement screws for it you'd think it has threads that would unscrew.

EDIT: YES its a rivet. What PITA that was to get out. I had to drill them both out and luckily i was able to fish them out of the windshield channel with a magnet otherwise the eternal rattling would have driven me crazy. Here's what the remnants look like.
