hello,
Thanks in advance. I purchased my 1st jeep 4 days ago.(2003 wrangler sport 5peed) I have seemed to get most of the bugs worked out. However when it rains i get water in driver side floor while parked in driveway.
The carpet will get wet and the floor is a little rusty under carpet. I cannot see where water is coming from or I'm not looking in correct spot. Thanks for any help

Welcome! Try removing the fresh air inlet grill (center of hood below wipers) and clean out the drain hole. Mine was clogged and it caused my passenger side floor to get wet.

X2.

Also inspect all the seals around the door jambs and above the windshield (header). A helpful way to figure this out very easily would be to have someone hose down the vehicle while you’re sitting inside of it. Just wait patiently and watch for anywhere you can visually see the water coming in. That is exactly what I would do.

Thanks for the help. I do believe the drain was stopped up. I had to remove the cowl

Thanks for help. I removed cowl and cleaned drain. While in there I noticed a body joint that was not sealed, so I sealed it. I believe the water is coming in below windshield because nothing is wet up top. Also I sanded the minor surface rust in both front floor pans and applied bed liner to them. Now if it leaks it not nearly as concerning. I will put the carpet back in when I get leak resolved. I should know in the am. They are predicting 3-6” of rain today-Sunday. Thanks again for the help

Happy to help! That's an area that's very prone to leaking, so it's good that you took care of it!

Mine does something similar comes in from my upper doors and goes through the interior and to the floor. The blue marks are the water during rain one day. And the red line is where the agua come in from and to
