My mom was actually like this. Made June Cleaver look like a filthy street whore.
She saw being a wife and mother as her career and was proud of how well she did her job.
Ruined me for a while, because I thought all women were like that and was a little stunned when my first wife didn't even try to manage the home while she pissed away my hard earned money.

Yep it's a lost art for sure. Not saying all women should be like this but it's sure not a norm anymore.

My mom was the same but after my sister & I started school she had to go back to work but she still was like this.

My folks actually got in a pretty heated argument when all us kids were in school and mom wanted to work part time. Her work at the house never suffered.
When my dad retired, they almost got divorced because he would get mad when she ran the vacuum (every week day). Too noisy! Lol.
You didn't talk back to my dad but, mom asked him what the hell he thought went on to keep his house clean.
They compromised by mom making his lunch (like she had for 40 years) and sending him to the workshop for a few hours a day...all the grandkids got swamped with wooden toys for a few years!😅🤣

The Z06 basically matched the Ferrari 458.

While there is indeed a huge price differential, I would guess that the individual buying the GT isn't too concerned about a few hundred thousand here and there.
