For once I’m not repairing anything. Thought I’d ask around and get some opinions on new front seats - actually leaning new stock, as I’m not fussy - just want some new ones, but if there’s a recommendation I’d like to hear it. Cheers.

What's your budget? One set of seats I would avoid are Bestop's Trailmax. I'm a Bestop fan but I'm no fan of their Chinese made Trailmax seats. Bestop replaced my driver's side seat under warranty due to the outer foam bolstering collapsing within months of installing them. The replacement collapsed too but I stopped worrying about it by then... too much trouble to replace again.

I ended up with PRP suspension seats but they're not cheap. Comfortable, yes VERY, but not cheap. This is what they looked a dozen years ago right after installing them. These have a fixed seat back angle which I like but most of their other models that have an adjustable seat back angle.

Those are sharp. Budget is not an issue. If there were one though- it’d be wanting whatever seats I choose, to be able to tilt forward comfortably so my kid can get in the back seat easily like the stock ones. I’ve read some chairs don’t give as much room. That’s about it. I’m looking for comfort.

I’m pretty sure I’ll be leaning on the adjustable ones. Still great seats regardless of model? I’ll definitely look into these, thanks Jerry. I just read a few older threads and am seeing a lot of positives about this brand.

Hey great read! I Just skimmed through it quickly and I noticed Mike Jolley back in 2018 commented on his interest in the folding/adjustable versions, like myself. Curious because no one commented on it - So you recommend these as well as the fixed style?
If it's a PRP you will most likely be very happy with it, they're all manufactured in SoCal, whether it has a fixed or adjustable seatback angle. I wrestled with deciding between fixed or adjustable but chose the fixed and I'm glad I did. Its angle is perfect for me and I have never regretted that decision. It's that comfortable.
