My past two aftermarket blower motors did not move as much air as the mopar unit.
I purchased both motor and resistor - pretty sure my motor is fine still - should I take the “don’t fix what isn’t broken” approach - or swap it since I’m down there? It is the original on my 05. Are there obvious signs on aging I should look for if deciding to keep the original? Cheers.
As a blower motor ages it'll start to draw more and more amps, eventually melting your AC controls and there's no way to easily tell it's happening. Happened to me. I would recommend replacing.
Right on thanks. I appreciate your opinion. This forum rules. I’ll swap em.
