How much should I sell my half doors for?

I have a pair of half doors I want to sell. I originally painted to match PSB silver. I got a new jeep and attempted to paint a door khaki metallic, and received a faulty can which botched one of the doors. I left the other one silver.

Considering this, how much should I sell these doors for? I recently sold my LJ so I have no need for these doors anymore. The next owner would be required to have these doors be repainted, which is common with any half door purchase I guess.

The cheapest I've seen lately is $600. It's easier to ask a lot then go down then start low and try to move up.

What condition are the interior panels in? I may be interested depending on the price and condition.

In the PNW if they are rust and mostly damage free doors with good interior trim panels they go for 600-1000 just depends on the time of year, quality of paint etc. $750 is a really good number for me

If the door is botched with paint,
youre not gonna get market prices
Asking prices are also not SOLD prices

I bought my mint red ones this past summer for $500
Very good condition, no rust.

Just needed to recolor the interior to gray
Im just outside of Chicago tho which is a huge market

There was a black pair, kinda scratched up on marketplace for $450 in DFW a week or two ago.

I bought a mis-matched set with interior panels last year needing minimal work and a repaint for $200.

Around me, them seem to sell for $300-500 in average to good condition. I've seen a couple sets in excellent condition sell for $600-700, usually with uppers or some extras of some sort. Anything priced higher than that usually just sits for a long time. Not uncommon to see doors needing some kind of work for $250-300 a set, sometimes single doors for $75-150.

It's a weird market, and seems to vary wildly based on location. Around here, half doors are very sought after. I've come to learn that in most other areas of the country, it seems full doors are what everyone is hunting down. Here though, they're usually a hard item to sell.

I paid $400 for mine, which needed paint and were missing parts, but also came with a used Smittybilt soft top and uppers with windows I could barely see through. I did the paint myself, got the parts, sold the soft top and polished the uppers well enough to get them usable but they're far from pretty.

I would jump on a set for $600 that didn't need paint.

For $750 I'd ask about them but go see/buy at my convenience and not be too upset if somebody beat me to them.

For $1000 I'd keep scrolling.

it would be in your best interests to strip and paint the mismatched painted doors to match if you have any real hope of selling them for a decent price.

Rattle can paint isnt exactly ideal for exterior surfaces imho either , so be sure the listing is clear so people know its a rattle can finish

The majority of buyers are looking for a set in the correct color they can just mount up and use. Theyre not looking for a repaint project.

So if you dont wanna fix the painting error & match them, consider the time and labor for someone else to fx them and price accordingly

I just sold a pair for $400 that needed to be stripped and painted from me messing around trying to paint them previously and use them as test pieces. Also the interior was khaki but spray painted black. Took a couple weeks to sell.

I bought a set off of a wrecked 98, and paid $300. That said, one door has an oil can dent, one was missing the interior latch, and the upper frame mounting plugs. And I had to repaint.

If they are in really good condition other than the color, I'd think 5-7 bills would be appropriate depending on your local market.
