I have an 06 that currently has the sound pods installed. The previous owner decided it would be nice to install 6x9 speakers and cut to fit them in the sound pods. He bought walmart speakers that have now blown out. I wanted to install the 5.25 speakers but now i can't.
I have searched for new pods but don't feel like paying $100 to buy new pods just to fit original sized speakers. I'd rather upgrade if I'm replacing.
There are a lot more sound bars available than pods but they all show for 97-03 and the pods from 04-06.
The question I have is...
will a 97-03 sound bar fit on an 06?
Or
If you have a better idea, I'd love to hear it.
Thanks

I'm guessing that it would work. The sound bar is fastened with 4 screws that look like about the same spacing as the pods have.
Just looking though, you're probably going to spend about the same for a sound bar as you will for pods, so unless you really WANT a sound bar, you might as well stick to pods.
On the other hand, if you want 6.5" speakers, there's this:

Thanks for the idea. $25 is a whole lot better than $100 for new pods. I dont really care if its a sound bar or the pods, I'm just trying to replace the speakers so I can get some sound. The previous owner didnt install the speakers correctly either way and the screw holes pulled out, so now I have a dangling speaker. This may be the better option either way so I can go with 6.5" speakers. Bigger speaker, more sound, right.
Thanks again
