No more white letters on BFG KO3s?

Had to get some new tires today; was trying out a new compressor yesterday so aired down and reinflated. Today came out to a flat BFG KO2. (They were 11 years old) 😬 Went to get a new set and found out they don’t put the white letters on them at all anymore! Bummed! Anyone ever used the white tire markers I heard of?

Interesting, I've never tried the stickers or the paint. Not my thing, I've just seen them advertised. Not too surprising it wouldn't hold up. Especially to abrasion off-road.

I've never tried the stick-on stuff either, but I see it often, and typically on daily driven cars. I've used the paint on my buddies drag car years ago. It looked great at first, but by the end of a season it was so cracked from flexing it had to be redone every season. I can't imagine it would last a month on a daily driven tire.

Speaking from years of white wall and white letter care, cleaners with bleach, like Westley's Bleach White, are the primary cause of yellowing. If the glue-on stuff has some kind of bleed-through issues, that's a different situation.

The white walls on my Chrysler are 8 years old in this picture.

I heard it was an issue with the glue on letters. I've never had factory white letters turn yellow.
