This actually happened to me. I was going to class at Orange Coast College. I had just changed the automatic for a 4 speed in my 73 Mach 1. A great song came on the radio (of course run through the equalizer!) . I was going through the gears and then pulled into a long left turn lane. I was about to keep going into the parking lot ahead of the oncoming traffic, but decided to stop and wait. Well, I checked my rear view mirror and saw an officer trying to stop his motorcycle. He slammed into the back of my car. I get out and he says "Are you ok?" I said "Am I ok? Are you ok.???" He was looking at the oncoming traffic to see if he would make it into the parking lot behind me. Didn't think I was going to stop. Needless to say, I did not get a ticket.
For you guys with rusty frames don't feel so bad.remember these tacomas falling in half?
