After installing 18" wheels with 35inch tires (35x12.5xr18) I lost significant power, torque. At 55mph RPM is way up and auto-transmissiom will not shift into higher gears or overdrive.
I do not want to change the axle gears.
Question: If I went with 33" tires, would I get my power back? Higher transmission gears?
I will say my Rubicon with 4.10 gears and 33" tires is really nice on the road and very capable offroad.
I don't feel a need to regear with my 33's and 4.10's. Maybe in the future?
I think y'all scared him off.
Or he didn't get the answer he wanted to hear.

You just need to increase the FM in the transmission and axels and you'll be fine. no need for expensive gearing.

I believe if I regeared mine my fuel mileage would be in the single digit's !
