I keep seeing the YouTubers talking about the off-road games and I’m thinking they won’t be that exciting.

I’m having a hard time thinking that watching random tubers driving capable vehicles will be fun.

Plus with Fab Rats refusing to do it and now going to Glamis instead it seems there may be some friction between them now.

Watched Nate's video this morning. He has some valid points about people's concerns. I don't know much about Matt and his channel. I've watched a few videos here and there but just can't really get into his content.

As far as these games go, I'd rather watch something like 24 hours of hell and back or just individual channels doing their own thing. Odds are I won't know the non-offroad YouTubers and therefore won't care about them. I liked the video of Peck Brothers each coaching a sister, wife, or girlfriend but the focus was on their family and they were all having fun. I don't think it will have the same effect by bringing unknowns together.

Also, I've officially watched every Peck Brothers video and am now bummed that I have to wait a week for each new one! 🤣 Thanks a lot!

I don't know about all that drama. The king rat said he doesn't want a stranger driving his "Toyota FJ" due to liability. I believe he just used that as an excuse because he was already committed to going to Glamis for his cousin Merlon's birthday and old school sand rail get together.

Reddit claims his wife whatever her name is wanted a larger cut of the proceeds to be there.

But now I see BleepinColt has a new channel called Colt builds it so he’s moving on from BleepinJeep. It’s like watching soap operas.

There’s been a lot of weeks where you don’t get a Peck Brothers video. Their LS mini wrecker is pretty cool though and it’d be nice if they showed more of the build.

Ya lost me at reddit.
I'm more likely to believe that he would have been there but couldn't not go to Merlon's Glamis gig.

That's the best thing he could do. Look at what ditching the Bleeper did for Dirt Lifestyle. Colt is more personable and entertaining than either DL or the Bleeper.

I was extremely impressed by Colt’s S10. But, we know that wouldn’t have happened had it not been for BleepinMatt. Surprised Colt gets to keep it.

Colt put out a little clip on IG saying he would still be on BleepinJeep. I'm thinking it might be a little more amicable than some other YouTube drama. Matt was even in the comments with positive posts. Hopefully Colt will get videos pumping out on his channel soon.

Having just watched everything, it seems more consistent since they've gone YT full time. But I agree, I would like to see some longer format videos with more detail. Of course, I have no idea what it takes and what goes into making their videos. They're super quality, so I imagine it is a lot of work. Their charisma and personality is great on camera though so hopefully they will grow and be able to put out even better content. I'd like to see Grind Hard length videos from them each week.

As a long time S-series fan, I loved the S10 and wasn't surprised at all that it won and did awesome on UA. Honestly, if I didn't have a TJ, I'd love to be building a solid axle Blazer ZR2 on either full-width 44's or tons. I had an S10 ZR2 years ago (it's still in my family back in VA) that I should have brought to WA and built years ago!

I’m still waiting on Bleepin Tyler to finish his gear install videos. ;)

I've nevwr watched any of his. I've only recently started watching any BleepinJeep videos because of the OnX S10 build. The restoration of his dad's truck has been neat though.

I definitely prefer Colt over Matt. If I referred to my wife as "the lunch lady" every week to a few hundred thousand people on the internet, I can guarantee you that I'd be making my own lunch! lol

I have zero interest in this years shenanigans. I really looked forward to the wrecker games last year.

It also seems as though fab rats and Matt’s off-road have drifted apart. They used to be on each others channels quite a bit…not so much anymore.

Wonder if it has anything to do with some of the botched stuff they found on the wrecker from Chads Fab.

Tyler was interesting on the channel and was into wranglers. The video below was the reason I ran the Hole in the Rock trail. But he just disappeared from the channel.

Colt was pretty much the only reason I was watching BleepinJeep.

Matt's off road recovery - High cost builds paid for by Youtube subscribers that fail and you get to watch 15 more episodes of them fixing it.

FabRats - Low cost builds paid for by Youtube subscribers that fail and you get to watch them fix it again, and again.... (how many transmissions can you blow up?)

Youtube - Mostly mindless entertainment fueled by dumb-asses that think they will learn something and be able to emulate the overpaid dumb-asses they are following. A waste of a good medium.

BFHGarage - a youtube channel that actually tries to teach you something useful, but does not give in to the hype and BS and gets only a tiny fraction of the recognition. Also, a member of the forum.

Just my $0.02 worth. Stop paying the frauds.

Choose carefully...

I don't subscribe to Matt's or Fab Rats, but your sentiment doesn't just apply to YouTube. Everyone chooses where to put their time/viewership and who it supports. I'd rather support a couple of guys on YouTube (with views, likes, and subscriptions, I'm not paying a patreon or a channel membership) than some celebrity on a crappy TV show or a professional athlete.

Luckily, everyone gets to choose for themselves. There's some channels that I have no idea how they are as popular as they are, but to each their own. I'm sure there are channels that I watch that plenty of others would think are stupid, boring, or pointless.

Thanks for connecting the dots watched a few of his videos didn't release he was the same as on the forum member. Hopefully I can add him to "at work video rotation"

I also find it interesting that Matt’s, Rudy and Fab Rats are all messing around with sand rails.

I watch some of those videos from the various off-road YouTubers. Not really a fan of most of them, but once in a while some of their builds are interesting. I am a big fan of Rory’s videos on his channel trailmater. Just three guys having a good time building stuff, doing recoveries, etc. Practically unedited video and some really good fab work… I find that much more enjoyable to watch with none of the bs that most other YouTubers participate in.

Dirtbilly deluxe is the really unedited stuff.
