Found a random plug behind the switch panel but there's no switch. Any ideas?

The switch on the end was installed by the PO but I doesn't go anywhere.

It's the Overdrive Off Switch connector

Edit: Was looking at the schematic to verify wire colors and LJ already chimed in.
 
Forgive me if I am mistaken but I believe it is for the Overdrive Switch for Automatic Transmission equipped TJ’s. I’m not certain but I also believe that loom of Mopar’s dash wiring harness is the same for manual and automatics. I have that same plug as well in my 04 Rubicon.

I have a manual 2003 2.4 and I found that wiring in a factory switch for my light bar. I thought 03 had a standalone TCM. Oops.
 
The stand alone TCM was for 03-04. 05-06 had the TCM built into the PCM. I’d suspect all the 03-06 have the same dash harness minus some wire color changes from what I’ve read. I’d also suspect once through the firewall things change but maybe not I’ve never dealt with an 05-06.
