Got a New Trailer

Irish Setter is Red Wings import line. Get about 1/2 life out of them compared to US Made Red Wings. Also my Cobbler says the US Made are much better materials and holdup to a rebuild better. Just had a pair of Irish Setters resoled , wasn’t worth the money. Should’ve gone new.

These have worked out really good for me so far I’ve got two identical pair

I had a lot of foot pain issues the last few years and so far so good-

I used to really love the original red wings- They just felt so supportive- I don’t know really why I haven’t been going over to the store but it’s all the way across town.

I’m running a similar boot for the same reason. Horrible foot pain.

These are a composite toe made in Vietnam but Red Wing label not Irish Setter.

Unfortunately Red Wing has been removing US Made models and replacing them with overseas manufactured.

This is about 60 days after rebuild.

New soles, inserts, laces, top leather replaced and added a toe patch

Most comfortable work boot with safety toe O believe to be the Keens but their lifespan is short and not rebuildable.

Yes I was thinking Red Wing was getting so much made overseas - I don’t know about you guys but it just seems like there is not an abundance of good choices for quality work footwear... I’m talking tough durable footwear that feels great. It’s been a struggle for me for a decade at least.

I kinda really hate you right now.... Wow nice trailer.

You know I was thinking earlier , once you get caught up on your jeep projects you can spend a good summer messing with a trailer-

There is all kinds of stuff available

Lights up good in back now , had a weird issue throwing the brake lights- ground was loose in the harness.

The NATO tail lights are about the weird- 4 bulbs each

I think my favorite part is the articulating hitch.

The next project is an operable tailgate- I’ve got a heavy duty piano hinge that might work-

Then to decide whether to paint it black-

Thinking black and silver rubicon hood lettering or “Rubi- Container”

The Rig drives amazing with it in tow. I was stunned. Hated to unhook it.

Don't ruin it by painting it. That one's made for mine. I'm sure you'll run across a black one made for yours.

I don't know if yours has it, but adding shocks definitely makes it more controlled and calm over bumps

I’ll take a look- It sure makes my jeep draft nice- and it drives good without it, amazing with it -
