I've always heard driving to the airport is much more dangerous than flying on a commercial flight. The small commuters are what scares me.
More room on the plane for me. In Costa Rica now and would hate to drive all the way down here.

Im now working at OHare, For some sobering information
IIRC O'Hare is the 2nd busiest airport in the United States.
O’Hare total flights for 2022 was over 900,000 per our airfield trainer, but I can only find ~720,000
IIRC ~15 years ago a plane would land or takeoff every 45 seconds
Today however, they're doing it roughly every 30 ish seconds.
Do the statistics, its pretty damn safe IMHO.
