Car pics too cool not to share

That, my friends, is a 1933 Plymouth coupe. I spent the last year of high school living with my best friend's family, and he had a few Plymouths, one being a '33 coupe. I sold him my '70 340 Duster, and he put the entire drivetrain from it into the coupe. It was pretty badass, I have to say. Thanks for posting that, @Wildman. It brought back some awesome memories!

My neighbor in high school had two 30's Dodge coupes that I used to drool over all the time. Had a girl friends dad who built hot rods and he liked me because I chewed Red Man tobacco. So he'd bum my pouch and take a huge chaw all the time. He was where I learned a lot of my early love for rods. The point is that this is why I enjoy so much posting these pictures. I don't have the experience with a lot of these rigs that many of you all do but I still really enjoy looking at them.

I think it's @BlueC that needs a hood on his rides. I prefer them with the engine fully exposed, myself. Awesome paint job on that little ride. I have other preferences for the wheels, though those aren't too bad. Man, I'll bet that's just a fun car to cruise around in. (y)

I'm OLD and seem to get these messed up all the time. But yes looks like a cool ride...

That just may be the nicest looking '55 I've ever seen, @Wildman. I can't find a single fault with its appearance! It's gorgeous!

I love the color, but if the car is getting that much custom work, it really needs that rear wheel opened up. The skirted look works on a stocker, but I want to see more wheel & tire on a big tire car.

If that is orange. :sneaky:

While I generally agree with you on the wheel openings getting radiused, I find that the one @Wildman posted as looking just perfect without it. I think it works so well for me because the rear tires aren't as large as many of the gassers we see. The car comes across as more of a street bruiser than a quarter-miler, and as such, I think the look was perfectly executed. Otherwise, the radiused wheel wells would be the way to go...
