Years ago, I had some bumper stickers made up at work (Government project) to sell at the Unfinished Nationals. I don't have any pictures of them, but they said "Paint Is For Houses, Not Hot Rods!!!". They sold quite well. I also sold quite a few of the "Paint is for
" (multiple cat silhouettes) for the more rebellious of the attendees.

Buddy of mine had a black 396, 4-spd one for about two months. He and a buddy got hammered one night, and he let his buddy drive. Rolled it down an embankment. They survived, but the car was totaled.
Bit of a soft spot for the '67 Chevelle Malibu. Mine only had a Blue Flame 6 backed up by a 2 speed Powerglide, but I still loved it. Scan of an old grainy photo...

Alright, my fellow car junkies, I need some help with this one. I'm thinking we're seeing a '69 Firebird in the background of a pic that @Wildman posted. Looks like a Pontiac color, looks like '69 Firebird body sculpting (fender crease, peak, or whatever you want to call it), and it even looks like we might be seeing one of the twin hood scoops of a '69 Firebird. So, what say you? Am I seeing this correctly, or do any of you have another idea of what it is? Inquiring minds want to know.

The wheel well looks to close to the bodyline. The hood scoop looks more in line to a GTO. The black part looks like the opening.

Here's a '70 GTO. You might be right about it potentially being a Goat. The contour of the upper fender (above the wheel opening) seems to better match the GTO's than the Firebird.
Someone around here is spending a little too much time finding killer car pics... too bad you don't find them all in person.

Was going to go with the Goat m'self at first glance....but it also looks there's an emblem on the side of the scoop in that original photo which has me leaning a little Firebird.
