2WD TJ?

So I actually owned a rare 2WD LJ for a couple weeks.
Until, of course, my new front driveshaft arrived.

Funny, I had a FWD one for a similar reason for about 24 hours
No, but they made 2WD 4 door JKs from 2007-2010. Seems pointless to me.

I knew a few people that got a “killer deal on a jeep” during that time frame and then found out they didn’t have four-wheel-drive..
I’m with you it’s like a screen door on a submarine.
At one point I had my 2wd Comanche (that I was converting to 4x4) and my TJ both with the front axles out from under them sitting side by side in my garage and the temptation was strong to bolt up the 2wd front beam axle to the TJ just to snap some pictures to confuse the interwebs.
But laziness got the best of me. Probably should have, though.

Jeep sold ZJs with 2WD. Here in Ohio we called those Grand Texan Cherokees
