2004 LJ rear main seal replacement

Are you sure your oil leak is coming from your main seal? Seem to me from the pictures you have a lot of oil up high on your exhaust which could indicate a leak somewhere from the top of your engine.

I was soaking oil pan bolts. That's the reason you see those oil lines around the pan.

Was expecting good progress during the weekend on this rear main seal job. One nut was rounded when removing the bracket. Later remove the upper main seal. I spent a good amount of time knocking it with the wood stick and no luck. It probably moved 1cm on the other side. I'm looking for your input on the below two.

1) Where i can find the new nut to install the bracket back? it's 9/16 size. 13 came out easily and one was rounded badly.

2) Any good tool to take this upper seal? Will a sharp needle nose plier work?

I did a rms this weekend and I used a punch that fit in a socket with an extention on it. Take your time and be careful, one tap at a time.
Chopstick would'nt work for me either.

It seems like I'm done with this project. The outcome is good so far. I used the below tool to remove the upper seal. I need some suggestions on Transmission fluid. I forgot to measure while draining off the fluid. I also tried to clear as much as possible using the opening near the radiator. I filled it with 5 ltr Mopar ATF fluid and the dipstick is full. Test drove it. It took a few minutes to move in Drive and Reverse gears.
