05 Rear Seat latch Disassembly help

Trying to restore a 05 rear seat, but run into a problem. The latch mechanism (part 8 in the pics) is all rusted and won’t move, but seems riveted together. Has anyone ever taken this latch apart or have a source for replacements?

Bought the seat used and previous owner let it rust to where it won’t latch so hoping to sandblast the metal, paint and reinstall.

I looked through the “How To” section, but couldn’t find anything relating to this.

Pretty sure that is a non-serviceable item, but I've also never tried, so could well be wrong. Can you not find a new one/one from a junkyard?
 
I would drop a Rusty one in a bucket if EvapoRust for 2 or 3 days. Maybe. Wire brush and see if it cleans it well enough.

Wipe it all and if it wirks, clean with brake cleaner, and then oil it, I use a shit if RemOil but I have a lot of cans of that.

I’ve brought a lot of rusty crappy items back with the stuff, kind of amazing

I messaged a junkyard yesterday in Ontario, but it took me 2 years and looking between 2 provinces to find someone who would part with their seat.

Found tons of the older style say though🤷‍♂️.

Thanks I’ll give this a try (not as nice obviously, but really it is a seat lol)
