My name is Rob, and I have a Jeep problem...

Grew up in SoCal, when all the cool places were still orange groves, avocados, cattle or chickens.

Recognized what was coming and got the h outta dodge as soon as possible.

Like most of the 'almost geriatric' crowd, I started with CJ's, tried a YJ, went back to a solid CJ, and then accidentally ended up in the current TJ. Wife has a JKU, and my late Dad's CJ is in the barn awaiting rebuild.
Home is now at the confluence of the AZ Peace trail, and the Camino del Diablo and if you do the peace trail proper, you'll pass our barn / strip, and probably stop at wife's pizzeria for a celebration dinner.

Jeeps have never been about 'traditional' wheeling for me, they've just been a means to and end, or a tool if you will. We hunt, fish, and get away... alot. In fact, most everything off road has been that tool for me. Then a few years ago wife joined me on a trip to the far north, and remarked that the way up (where I usually just hauled ass to get to where I was going) was a journey as worthy or moreso than the destination. At that point I realized I'd been running so hard all my life I didn't see what I was passing along the way.

So here's to rekindling a Jeep and as many more journeys as the good lord sees fit.

And thanks to all the people here who don't realize how much they helped the lurkers like me.

Take care, Rob
