Hi, I am a long time jeep lover and new to this forum. We have a 2006 Wrangler Unlimited LJ auto with only 67,000 miles. It has the factory hardtop and a 1 year old Bestop softtop. We are looking to sell it. Not going to trade it in and get some ridiculous offer. We are thinking around 20-25k which is what I have been told by some other Jeep owners. It is in excellent condition and has not been off road since we have owned it. Wondering if anyone might have some interest. I will take more photos and post them when I get a minute but here it is.

Not trying to be a jerk or anything, but that isn’t the factory hardtop. Looks like the RallyTops hard top that came in mine. You do have a nice looking Jeep though.

Thanks for pointing that out, I am certainly no expert. We do love the jeep, especially cruising topless down the Blue Ridge Highway in NC or A1A in South Florida. It's my wife's daily but she wants something more "practical" like a Subaru Outback (lol) My Grandaughter digs it too.

I recently put my hardtop back on for the first time in 7 years. My wife wanted me to put it on for a trip we just took to the Outer Banks. I like it and I don’t like it. I do love the dark carpeting on the interior though. I’ll probably leave it on through the summer at least.

Things have changed so much since I bought mine in 2016, so this may not help much. 96-ish thousand miles, all stock except for the hard top, radio and an aftermarket rear tube bumper, non rubicon. I paid $13,000 for it back then in Augusta, Georgia.

My understanding is that the LJ is coveted among Jeep lovers ? and mine has under 70k miles (I have carfax). It is totally stock and in great shape.

It is, and you have a very nice example. However, they aren’t all that rare and difficult to find yet. Plus, the market is softening. I see your Jeep selling in the high teens, 20k if you’re willing to sit on it a while. It would probably be gone tomorrow at 15k.

LJ Rubicons were flirting with 30k and they are much more rare. That market has softened as well. Now, I wouldn’t expect one to go for 25, either, unless it’s exceptionally low mileage (sub 30,000).

Hope I’m not being offensive, but that’s just how I see things, and I’m a guy that looks at LJ’S a LOT while his wife is watching crime TV.

We have a member here trying to move one (a LJ) for 6 months and he’s down to just over 10k. It’s much higher mileage, but claims rust free as well. I hope it works out for you, I really do.

Thank you! I love jeeps (had a CJ Golden Eagle back in late 70's) but I am not an expert on the market. I will get some photos and more info posted. We would be open to letting it go somewhere between 15-20k ( I saw the book value was around 18) as we found a 2019 Outback 3.6 Touring model with 17k miles in white and my wife wants it. Happy Wife = Happy Life...lol. btw I generally drive mid 60's early 70's muscle cars like this one:

I agree with @Mike_H. Mine, very similar to yours but with 98K on the odometer, was $20K 3 years ago, at the very peak of the COVID / Used Car Price mess. Prices are substantially lower now.

Go muscle cars. I was running Camaros and Chevelles back in the day, and really wanted a purple Challenger.

I have owned 3, wish I still had them. (black one is 440 six pack)
