My driveway seems to be the local turnaround. Any suggestions?

Yea, I do rent. Landlord luckily doesnt give 2 shits about anything I do.. I go to ask and he always responds with "I dont care what you do there". The house is sitting on about 47 acres and his sooner than later goal is to take the house down and develop the land its on.
Either way I couldn't justify a few thou on gates anywhere even if I did own the land, though that would be the cats meow to have it open like a garage door. The chains are the first option. swing / bump gates will likely be next and if the decision to drive around them occurs ive got access to large stones.
I do suspect though that now that you can visually see a deterrent as your approaching on the road now, the thought to swing in and turn around will likely turn into "ill go to the next one to turn around."

Why not clear a spot just before or after your driveway and put up a big sign that reads: "TURNAROUND HERE"?

Some people think california is all roses,sunshine and wimps but I've also been at a campsite next to an offroad park where a bunch of local boys rammed some out of town kids h3 and put bullet holes in it. Rolling gunfight ensued for about 30 minutes all over the offroad course.me and my brother(who called 911 and yelled it to the stupid fucks shooting everywhere) wound up getting held at gunpoint(swat with machineguns) by 4 different agencies once they finally showed up hours later to sort it out.
Nothing raises the hair on the back of your neck like the wizz of bullets going close by. One kid was shot in the foot and a girl had a bullet clip her earlobe.
It apparently started with the drunk out of towners hitting on someones gf... nepotism is real guys. The out of town kids were in handcuffs in the morning and the deputies were telling each other who was keeping what gun and what motorcycle when some high ranking officer from a close by dept showed up and told them to let the kids go. One of the kids family raises k9s for law enforcement and was related to the officer.
The kids wound up driving mommies hummer away with every window broken,and every panel bashed. Me,my brother and a good friend laughed our asses off and poured some strong drinks as soon as it was over.such a surreal ordeal and we had been up all night with the cops.

Fuck no. I'm not a minority with a sense of entitlement and a death wish. We showed them our hands and gave as many no sir,yes sir's as they needed to not put bursts of green tips in us
Theres a perfectly suitable and clearly visible park and ride parking lot 1/4 mile south of my driveway. Unfortunately im just the half way spot between two main roads and an easy place I guess. both neighboring driveways are fairly "hidden" until your right atop of them.. though I did see someone slow down at approaching my drive then proceeded and drove up the neighbors driveway and turn around up at his pole barn yesterday.
Im on a pretty busy road.. and even I dont feel comfortable backing out into it. during rush hour I usually have to wait a bit until I can race out of the driveway.
