I have been chasing a vibration and I ordered a new adams rear shaft about a month ago, however I tossed the jeep on jackstands today and put it in gear and saw the shaft wobble a bit, is it safe to say the driveshaft needs to be rebalanced ? The wobble is very small however it’s noticeable

While they do intersect, runout and balance are two separate issues First question would be is the runout from the shaft or from what it is attached to. Are the tcase and pinion yokes in good working order? Is there any runout out in the tcase output shaft? What was the issue before you installed the new shaft and did it change once the new shaft was installed? These double cardan shafts with basically no tubing in the are hard to ensure low runout so I would not discount that being the issue but it is best to take the time to rule out all other possibilities as well.

There is definitely some play at the sye yoke when pushing directly up from underneath, but the nut is at spec. New t case bearing time?

Runout was from the shaft

What SYE?

While attached to the Jeep?

If you look close at the seal of the T case you can see the output has some wobble to it, its not the greatest video because you have to look closely. Maybe the output shaft has some runout causing it? The seal is also starting to weep.
