Good reviews, CarPlay, fits factory opening (97-01 Wrangler), the recommended power for my Focal 130AC’s (50w x 4), clean design and only $100 bucks.

Here is an actual picture installed in a Durango which is the same size opening a 97-01 Wrangler.
Personally, I've found that no volume knob or hard button is a real pain in the usability department.
I think what you need is more threads on stereos.

It has voice control so let’s hope that’s not an issue but if it is there is also a steering wheel remote as an option!

There is a story behind the name, something about a typo.
But I would also not get a head unit without a physical volume knob. I have a double dinn apple carplay compatible touch screen unit, with a volume knob and it just took a little cutting to get it to fit.
I’ve seen numerous people mention a knob as a make it or break it feature. I’d trust that.
Some of us take that even farther. I like knobs or real buttons for everything. I can turn on my OEM radio, adjust the volume, and select a preset station by touch, without peeking. And if I need one of the other functions, a quick glance tells me where the button is, and then I can operate it by feel without my finger slipping off and hitting the wrong button.
I hate touchscreen controls in a car, and much more in a bouncy Jeep.
Doesn't the tj dash radio opening have more of a rounded corner, that Durango dash opening looks fairly square in comparison off of memory.
Additionally, I wouldn't really spend an arm and a leg on audio equipment for the jeep if thats the direction your heading. highs and mids are ok but there just isn't the room available needed to produce the lows.
audio quality is acceptable at low speeds and with the roof on but once the roof is off and your traveling at speed quality of audio kinda turns into what a blaring job site radio sounds like.. just hearing the high notes.

I say, if that's the direction you want to go, it certainly looks like a compact package? And at that price, tough not to give it a try, in my opinion! I say that some gentle work with a dremel can make make anything fit well, if it's close.

I'm the same way. I really like the knobs on all 3 of our cars. 2015 F150, 2013 Civic and the 04 TJ. Having a nice bright display to share info is great - Love the Tire pressure/trans temp/fuel range display on both of the newer cars, but absolutely despise the trend towards touch screens for EVERYthing.
ONE use case i appreciate a touch screen is my OnX map app on my iPhone - really nice to be able to pan/zoom with simple touches/pinches - but that's a very specific use.

I also like having a volume knob. In one of my TJ's I went with a decent Sony double DIN, but it doesn't have the knob. I won't do that again, it's annoying having to use buttons for the volume.
I wouldn't buy that. The fuckin diagram is wrong.
Also I noticed you got like 4 threads on audio, you can prob keep most of that stuff on one
