What Causes Driver's Side To Be One Inch Lower?

I've noticed my drivers side sits about one inch lower than the passenger side on my 2004 Rubicon. I put it on four jack stands on a level surface, and I measured from the floor to the frame at the same location on both sides. The jack stands were all at the same distance according to the notches on the stand. All the body mounts look the same. What could cause this? Springs or something else? Thanks

Springs. Nothing else supports the vehicles weight- tires hold the axles up, springs sit on the axles and hold the frame up.

Leaving out mangled body mounts- springs.

Measure cup to cup all the way around.

Stock rear is 8”

Stock front is 12”

Thanks. I was kinda figuring it had to be the springs. Is it normal for them to get weak after around 90K miles? What brand should I replace them with? I assume the Rubicon are a little stiffer?

Well it’s not really the mileage- it is the gravitational pull over the years and metal fatigue-

It is pretty debated as far as brands- Some members swear there’s a little difference- Others believe the brand or the type can make a difference-

I’ve used Savvy, RockKrawler, Skyjacker, Stock, Rough Country and OME, all worked well.

You have to be specific about the length that you need based on how the jeep is set up or you’re going to be changing things you don’t need to change.

Rubicon springs are no firmer, or longer. The Rubicons’ key differences are the tires, gear ratio, transfer case and lockers.

Was the new Miss Alabama driving it ? :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: In which case I would say ONLY 1in IS GOOD !!!!

Are you sure? I ask because Moog's OEM replacements distinguish between Rubicon and other models. See the table here. I put Moog's Rubicon springs on my SE and got a little over 0.5" of lift.

@KY_SimpleMan — Yes, it's normal for springs to start to sag over time. Now is a good time to decide whether you want to stick with your current ride height or not.

Or just add spacers to get the ride height you want.

Not now. Was when I posted it. I used to know the spring numbers, etc—all starting to run together 7 rigs in
