I went to a Nashville Sounds game last night knowing I didn't have to get up early today. I am enjoying the day off.
The Army gave me a 4 day for Father’s Day, worked a little yesterday and now off again today. 
I’m ok with it lol.

I didn't even think of it until this morning our intern who is actually a student from Africa texted to ask if we were working today.
Manufacturing does not recognize holidays or weekends… heck we even run a night shift at one sits…. One thing of note is what are we celebrating is not clearly defined even in the naming of the day. And then it seems a bandaid to MLK day of recognition. MLK got overran by the alphabet soup group and greatly diminished the significance. So now we have Juneteenth. My .02 cents.

I think we should all remember why this is an important date... it's to celebrate the union army and Republicans freeing slaves from the Democrats.
