I think that Japanese one probably has some American-made parts in it.

I purchased Denso radiator from Amazon seller Autoplicity for $134. It arrived yesterday. Made in Indonesia. Packaging has some damage but radiator was ok.
Radiator seems well made. Installation was simple drop in except the 4 threaded screw holes for fan shroud mounting had to be rethreaded so the screws provided can go in. These 4 screws are smaller size then original. Since doing the radiator I also replaced upper and lower hoses with Napa parts. Took it for 1 hour drive and temperature was normal at 210 degrees. So far so good!

Lot of fakes and questionable parts on Amazon. And eBay.
I'd be ordering from Rock Auto personally.
My Napa Spectra is holding up so far...when it goes it'll be replaced with a Denso.
I also have a Rusty's radiator skid plate. Lot of big sticks on Forest Service roads out here like to reach up and impale things.

I bought a CSF, back when it was a lukewarm rec here and the Denso hadn't come to anyone's attention yet. *shrug* They're a reputable brand, I'll just see what happens!
