My TJ came up with an advisory (likely to fail next time) on the MOT inspection about 2 years/3000m ago. I can’t remember what brand we got to replace them but likely this Crown one (this is almost the only UK supplier…)

They have just been pinged again as an advisory which is crap. It’s not offroaded much at all and suspension is stock.

Any reason why these might fail so fast, and is it worth either of these instead?

If the answer is none of these, Quadratec will ship to the UK so I could try them

Also check your rear swaybar cushion they may be worn out. Crown #52088125, if you get new swaybar links get ones with rubber bushing may last longer.

RT Off-road is Crown. If the first version that failed is Crown, buying the RT is just using the same part again.

I have a bucketful of the stock OEM links you can have for the cost of shipping if you want to send over a label.

Here are a couple of pics - difficult to get as the TJ lives in a garage (useful in the crappy English weather). Looks like last time I went for the metal links.

I'd clean up the mud, spray a little WD-40 on the bushing to polish it up...maybe run the nut off and retorque it then take it back for inspection with your repaired sway link.
