As was mentioned, I would try to get out to a show or maybe just asking people at an event to try out different seats the best you can. They're a very expensive item to lock yourself into without trying one out. I unfortunately didn't do that and went with PRP Daily Drivers. My jeep is mainly for ice cream and getting off road, I didn't hit the highway at all last year. I think the daily drivers are great for holding me in place offroad. They can be a bit of a paint to get in and out of with the higher side support.
I was lucky that a local 4X4 sop had about 10-15 seats on display to sit in. While not the same as sitting in them in a rig but it gave me an idea.
I'd bought the Procar seats used and had them in my CJ5 before I put them into my TJ...
I still Love my Mastercraft seats. I can ride in them all day and be comfortable.
I replaced upper and lower foam on my driver's seat. The extra lumbar support the new upper foam provides is a major improvement over my old foam. I already had heated seat elements fitted so they got swapped over, and I replaced the outer side panel of the seat pad with some pleather that was a very close match.
How come? I've had the Trailcats a couple years now, way better than stock seats. Debated between them and PRP's but wanted to keep the fold option. I have seat covers on the base to keep dog claws from ripping fabric but otherwise they've been good for me
