Anyone playing COD? I've been playing it since WAW. Current favorite is Cold War.

Currently playing mostly BO6, though feel that MWIII is better. Definitely something lacking with the BO6 maps. I got into MWZ and still play that when I have time on the weekends.

Been playing since Cod4 came out. Lived through the glorious era of MW2, MW3, Blops1 and Blops2. Things were so much fun back then. Took a break from COD starting with Blops3 all the way thru Infinite Warfare (Infinite Dislikes). Got back into it with the reboot of the Modern Warfare series. Never touched that abomination called Vanguard, and never played Cold War.

Turned to Battlefield for a little while when it was apparent COD was off the rails. Immediately left Battlefield when they rolled out BFV and called everyone uneducated when everyone complained about having blacks fighting for European military forces, woman running around with claw hands and being put in place of males in historical based battles. Was pretty fun watching that game not sell as well as they hoped.

Last I played was on a PS3. That's how long it's been. WAW was great though!

WAW was my favorite campaign. I wish they would do a remaster for it. That was back in the XBOX 360 days for me. Bought it when my first son was born and I was home a lot with him. He's 16 now, dang!

I did have some fun playing Battlefield 1 (WW1). That was really the only one I got into. They've gone way off the rails since then. I tried 2042 and didn't like it at all.

I used to play COD when I was a teenager, not sure if anything has changed at all in the last ten years or if they are just crapping out the same thing again and again.

I liked Battlefield 1, but I admit it was a bit jarring having black troops and turbaned Sikhs mixed in European units. I would be the first one to point out the contributions of colored units/colonial units etc but they could have shown them in a way that was historically accurate and not some half assed attempt to "represent" people without putting in the effort to really to tell their story and everything they suffered through.

The movie 1917 had some moments like that as well, there was some random Sikh soldier with some English unit, we are left to assume that the soldier in question must have gotten separated from his unit, but showing his entire unit in battle would have provided better context.

The most common complaint lately is the skins. They have focused a lot on 'Weed smoker' skins. Rogan is part of that. There are also cats, chameleon's and lots of other 'non-solider' type that piss off people. They have shown that they will release pretty much anything they can sell. The average skin is around $24. So easy money for them. If you buy 3+ skins, they've doubled the money they charge for the game.

The most common reason to NOT buy skins has been that they can only be used in the current game. So they've started doing two year cycles. MWII skins could be used in MWIII. They're doing the same with the current game BO6: BO7 will be next years game and you will be able to use all your skins and guns.

I very rarely buy skins. I did make one exception this year because they released a Terminator pack. So I had to buy that one lol.

I’ve been bouncing between modes too, and the BO6 maps feel kinda empty to me as well. MWZ weekends hit the spot though, especially running with a small squad.

I'm liking BO7 a lot more than BO6. They did a better job on the maps. Plus really like the remastered BO maps they added: Raid, Express, Hijacked, Slums are a lot of fun.

Still play MWZ sometimes, also usually weekends since matches are over an hour if you go to dark aether. Hopefully they will do another MWZ someday.

I’ve been bouncing between different COD titles too, and whenever I’m itching for something fresh I keep an eye on new releases. I grabbed my last one through https://www.cdkeysforgames.com/consoles/call-of-duty-black-ops-7-ps5/ because it saved me a few bucks and the code dropped into my PS5 without any hassle. If BO6 maps feel a bit dry, having another game lined up takes the edge off.

I been playing battlefield I should say trying to play it’s hard as fuck man!

I used to be a gamer as a teenager. Sunrise to sundown but it’s just a whole different game now! These kids are no joke.

I played the beta and tried the battle royale, couldn't get into it.

I've started Arc Raiders and trying to get into it. Slow start so far. Spend most of the time looking for things.
