Anyone built a wall door hanger using 2 pair of these:

Any one try two of these? $1.50 each. Diameter fits the door hinge.

Now that's an idea...thanks!

I planned to put 2 2x6s in between studs in my workshop to mount the hinges to, due to the middle point being between studs, with not that much room on the wall. I could easily put that type of lag screw or even a lag bolt through the 2x6 at the hinge locations...hmmm...

I did find this thread after posting my question above:

However, I do have mirrors on both sets of doors, and would have to space mine out from the wall to accommodate the mirrors. I don't have a lot of room. I think the eye bolt idea should work, hopefully. It's not like I can't prop them up on the floor against the wall until I find the solution.

That's what I did.....put a pad on the floor...set the doors on them and leaned them against the wall...."bam" (priceless). :)

Bike hangers work good too but i didn't quite trust the weight rating and reinforced with nylon straps. View attachment 46366
I agree. Those are 2 beautiful red doors. They make me nervous pulling on that one wall hanger.
And may i suggest a foam pad or a thick quilt between the doors, they are too pretty to get scratched , just my $0.02
