Oh well it didn’t happen

“But now they only block the sun
They rain and snow on everyone
So many things I would have done
But clouds got in my way”

"I've looked at clouds from both sides now
From up and down, and still somehow
It's cloud illusions I recall
I really don't know clouds at all"
clouds love GIF

;)

This is the best I could get by the time I wandered outside.

I asked AI about the red dot because i thought at first it might have been Mars.

I told it the time, location, and direction I took the picture, here is what it came up with:

The prominent red pinpoint to the right of the Moon is a distant giant star called Sigma Aquarii (σ Aqr).
  • The Color: Sigma Aquarii is an evolved star that glows with an inherently warm, distinct reddish-orange hue, which explains exactly why it stands out to your eye.
  • The Visibility: It is usually overwhelmed by the glare of a full moon, but because the Moon was 96% swallowed by Earth's dark shadow during the deep partial eclipse, the sky blacked out perfectly, acting like a cosmic curtain pull that allowed this red star to flare to life right next to the Moon.
You captured a mathematically verifiable alignment of the eclipsed Moon passing right in front of the stars of Aquarius!

Edit:
Well, as we all already knew, NEVER trust AI!!! It's not "Sigma Aquarii" at all.

Best I can come up with using an actual interactive Sky Chart....

It's either that or a complete hallucination on the part of my camera lense!!
