Have not been wrenching on my TJ because the doc was wrenching in my new knee! Surgery was 10/9. Started PT on 10/10 - a tad painful. Should move on to walking with a cane next week. No driving for three to four weeks since it is my right knee.

My neighbor recently had a full knee replacement. It’s taken him about 3 months, but he’s almost 100% now.

get better soon. And do your PT. I broke my leg really bad on July 4 and I’m still healing up. Using a walker right now but I should be graduating to a cane any day now. Hopefully by Thanksgiving will be somewhat back to normal. They have come along way with knee replacement surgery in the last few years. I’m sure you’ll do fine. Good luck.

Sorry to hear, but I hope your doc did a good job and that you're back in good working order after the recovery.

Thanks man gets better everyday!

Glad to hear it is going well! Keep up with the PT. I had to have another reconstruction a couple of years ago and there were lots of people in there with knee replacements. The Physical Therapist told me how much worse the rehab was for people that didn't take their PT seriously. You will be rowing gears in no time!!

Thanks for your reply. One week out of surgery and started walking without the walker yesterday. PT makes me sweat!! Gotta do it though.

New knee is working well. Doc uses a system made by a company named Conformis. The orthodic is custome made to the dimensions of your knee based on measurements from an MRI.

Medical technology is a beautiful thing. Glad it's working out for ya.
