These have found a new home... on their way to ups!

I have a pair of m.o.r.e. Industries hide a steps that came off my tj when I put the rock sliders on, they hide up against the tub until you need them then spring back up out of the way when the weight is off. They are nice steps I see them online now for just under $150, I only had them on my tj for a short time before I removed them but they worked great When they were on. I’m not planning on putting steps back on so if anyone needs some side steps make a small donation to the forum and I’ll cover the basic shipping to the lower 48. I’ll leave the donation open to whoever wants’em whatever you feel fits and make everyone feel good.

The only thing you need is 4 lock nut/bolt 8 washers I kept to seal the holes in my tub, the special nuts/bolt with the tab is included with the set.

I wish these worked with rock sliders. This is a great idea for a Jeep without rock sliders. And MORE makes great products. Very nice offer you’ve made someone

That’s why I took them off my sliders stick out and down far enough to make them unpractical, I think they would work with the poison spider style that stay up even with the tub. These are great, because they pull off/on in seconds by pulling the pins out.

I may be interested in doing this.

Are those Rubicon Rocker Guards you have installed in the first pic?

Did you have to cut the notch in the bottom lip for them to function, or was that cut to install them?

I have MOPAR rock rails installed, but my wife still has a hard time getting in and she's not comfortable stepping on the rails because of issues with stability. They have a bottom lip just like the Rubicon rails do. I'm wondering if they will work with those and if the rails will stick out to far to make stepping on the MORE step awkward?

The first pic is showing the stock rubicon rock rail, the sliders stick out farther outside the picture. I can really only answer what you see they were on the Jeep when I bought it I didn’t install them. It looks like the PO cut a notch in the factory rock rail with a torch and the bracket for the step fits up against the frame and tub and is held in place with 3 bolts each, the mounted step is pretty tight up against the tub when up and only sticks out just enough to get your foot on it (3” ?).
you also need to drill a total of 6 holes 2 on each side go up into the tub you access the nuts from the cab. One hole you drill in the frame and the special nut has a long tab you hold to snake the nut through an access hole into the frame. A bit of electric tape stuck to the tab made maneuvering that nut with a tab easier getting it out as the frame access is barely larger than your index finger. I’d give this project a difficulty rating of one skinned knuckle and two beers due to the special nut and slider modification on the rubicon.

The rails on the side of my MOPAR Rock Rails extent 3 or so inches of the side of them. I’m thinking these might be to awkward for my wife to step on with the rails sticking out.

Thanks for the reply. As JMT said, it’s a nice offer you making to someone.

I would be interested in this. My kids have a hard time getting into the Jeep. I bought rock sliders with a step but realized that I need to repair the torque box a little before I can install them. I'm brand new to the forum but I will figure out how to donate and wait for a p.m. to see if the offer still stands.

The offer stands, send me a pm with the mailing address and I’ll stick them in one of those if it fits it ships boxes.

They are probably not the best choice of steps to use with a slider that sticks out farther than the step the slider will make it hard to access the step getting out of the TJ.

There is a tab on the home page to donate money to the forum.

Yeah, I think this will be temporary until the spring when I can repair the torque box. If/when I am done with them I will pay it forward and list them on here in this same way.

Chris, the steps have been claimed, I am not seeing the mark sold link to remove the listing.
Thx, clark
