This popped up for sale a few miles from my house, I originally had no intention of buying a TJ, but the price was cheap enough to scratch my wrangler itch without breaking the bank.

2006, 150k, 6spd, 4.0, Dana 44 rear axle. No other options.
It's lived it's entire life in this area, but has no frame rot which blew my mind.

It has a new(ish) pavement ends top that was installed by a monkey that needs to be replaced. I'm still deciding on dual tops or going with a twill top.

The FJ80 in the background is suppose to be my offroad rig, until I nuked the engine.

Well, I hate to rain on your parade, but if you take an endoscope to the inside of that frame, I guarantee you that there is some nasty rust on the inside.

Actually, drop that transfer case skid plate and I'll bet you might even see some frame rot (that is the most common place for it to happen). I'm only brining it up, because you might want to address that and inspect it before it gets worse (assuming it's there).

I'm not trying to be rude or make you feel bad about the purchase, I'm just saying that given the rust on the outside, I'd bet the inside is far worse.

Anyways, that's not a proper way to welcome someone, so my apologies!

That being said, welcome to the forum! It looks like a nice TJ, and I'm sure you got it for a great price!
