So I’m replacing my clutch. I was using a shop towel to clean the grime out from behind the flywheel mount. As I was wiping out the grim a small plastic piece came out. Anyone know where this could have come from?

Check the pilot bearing in the crank. That is the only thing that I can think would be that size. But i have never seen a plastic one.

So here is the old pilot bearing and the mystery part. So it’s the same type of plastic and diameter as the end of the clutch slave cylinder, could it be the piece that keeps that retained until you push the clutch in for the first time?
