My 2005 unlimited keeps throwing a P1776 code. When it would shift from 3rd to 4th. When we bought it (salvage), there was no overdrive lockout switch with it so I purchased one and installed it today. I was thinking if it ran fine as long as it didn’t go into o/d, that would be a temp fix. Well it didn’t work. I then went to look at the throttle valve switch and it looks like it’s missing? I’m at a loss with this. Any help would be appreciated. FYI trans had a rebuild 2 years ago, solenoid pack was changed out along with fluid and filter 2 weeks ago. Fluid and valve body looked good.
