Hello,
Any advice on what would you do with this besides trashing it. I know I'm screwed....

How's the rest of the frame look? Is the front bumpstop sleeve the worst part? If so i can get you some measurements from my old frame and you might find someone who could weld on a new pipe and cap the end, then replace the bump stop cup.

I'd like to see the rest of the frame, because that right there is absolutely awful.

If it looks that bad on the outside, I can only imagine the inside looks worse.

Not sure what to do there other than cut and replace sections as needed, or get a new frame.

Tossing that loose piece in the trash could buy you some time even without replacing it but I'd be more worried about the where the frame and skid plate meet along with where the lower control arms attach. The cause of the rust in that area is closely related to what you have there, salt, water, mud, or whatever not draining out and/or drying up.

Good luck whatever you end up having done.
