Hey all. New to this forum and TJ wranglers in general. Rescued this girl from the salvage yard here, and like any car sold to a wrecking yard it's plenty rough and needs some love. Starting with some glaring maintenance issues before I can even start driving it. Tearing into this hack job exhaust this weekend, then onto cooling and steering systems...

Wow, looks like the previous owner didn't take the best care of that. At least you'll be giving it a new lease on life.

Welcome from Salem, Oregon by the way!

Looks like the SYE just became priority. Had to remove the TC drop to install the new energy suspension mounts. Pretty much guaranteed vibrations now

Getting there slowly. Cooling, steering, and exhaust systems done. SYE installed. Driveshaft in shop. Thinking of re gearing my XJ front. The LP TJ front is pretty hammered.

Good luck.. will be interesting to watch the transformation!!

A good soapy pressure wash can make a world of difference when working below the beltline of any older vehicle.
Good luck and glad she found you!😉
