To me, that water hole just screams "Yer gunna get stuuuuck!"
Yea, I know.
As silly as it sounds, I still look back and wonder what the hell I was thinking and wonder why I even attempted it. It could have been deeper and swallowed the Jeep. I'm usually a very cautious person, just not that time. I now test out all holes with a big stick before I cross them.
Sometimes we ask ourselves "Can I?" when the question really is "Should I?". Been there, done that!

total loss on the front 2. I think they pulled both axles off trying to pull the cherokee out. ths place is hell on rigs. About 20 lost this ast year
This was this past weekend. We had 8 of us. I was leading/guinea pig....

Monticello Canyon, Middle of Nowhere, NM. Also known as Calle del Norte Road, there are about two dozen crossings along its length, and in the narrow part of the canyon the creek IS the road.
