What is held down by this intake manifold bolt?

Anyone with a 4.0 2006 TJ or LJ Unlimited Rubicon know what exactly is held down by this bolt on top of the intake manifold? It has to serve a purpose. For the life of me, I cannot remember what I unbolted from it.

My 2006 Rubicon is stock and it doesn't look like there has ever been a bolt in that hole. It has threads but they are slightly corroded.

My 2006 non-Rubicon Unlimited doesn't have anything in that hole but threads.

Mike the Silver TJ has some nice silver threads in there. The slight corrosion I mentioned has my threads looking exactly like the rest of the manifold.
