Replacing my stock flares. Trying to keep the budget under $250. Mostly used as a DD.
Current setup: 33" x 12.5 tires, 2" coil lift, 1.25" BL.

Main questions are:
1. Do you think 6" wide pocket flares will fit without my front tires rubbing?
2. Aesthetically, which look of the 2 choices below do you guys prefer?

EAG Pocket Flares ($169.99)

Tidal Flat Flares ($179.99)

Thanks!

The stock flares look the best from an aesthetic perspective IMHO. Pocket flares look like garbage IMHO.

This is just my opinion though. You stand to gain nothing at all from going to different fender flares, hence why I would stick with stock.

I appreciate the opinion, and I understand the viewpoint. I just want a wider, thicker look. I really dislike the 4" flares.

If you guys HAD to pick between the two I linked, which one would it be?

The tidal flares are teck-screwed to the body. They don't use any of the factory holes. Really piss-poor mounting setup.

I'm partial to the 4.25 pocket flares, the 6in ones look like crap.

You'll lose about 2in of wheel space with pocket flares. If they're close to rubbing stock ones, they'll rub the pocket ones

~3in of lift front and back
31s
33s
33s no flares
All the same lift height

33s rub like crazy with the flares. I can fit my hand all the way around the tires without flares in a similar situation.

I didn't notice that in the description. Thought it used factory holes like the EAG ones.

Gotcha. I still need to add 3/4" spacers to the front so ultimately I will lose about an inch of space from what I have now between the tire and flare.

Wait, your factory one's are 4"?
If this is so, they are off of a rubicon. And I will buy them should you choose to get rid of them :devilish:

Pocket flares , while available , aren't FSM . ( That's a Forum Sanctioned Modification) .

Likes don't count either , and you get no points whatsoever. Sorry, we have the algorithm set up that way. Talk to Chris if you want it changed.

I'm knee deep into the LED light bar problem , so I can't work on it.

If you off road I would stay away from the Pocket ones Red Jeep. I can't count how many I have seen broken where the screws mount to the fenders. Even my buddy Green Jeep changed his out after breaking them many times.

I run 31inch tyres no lift and 6inch pocket flares....any slight flex and I'm rubbing. (rookie mistake I made a few years ago) I now NEED a lift to take it off road. So like what said before if you staying on the blacktop or gravel roads you'll probably be fine, but pocket flares (even though I love the look) do hang lower than flat fenders.

Tidal Flat for sure. I utterly hate the pocket flares. Tidal are the same as Bushcracker without the $400 price tag.

They’ll rub unless you stop it with bumpstop, but a little rub on the flare is fine, not fine on the fender
